The rapid adoption of AI across the UAE is changing how B2B sales organisations approach growth, with companies increasingly moving beyond experimentation and focusing on turning AI investments into measurable revenue outcomes. The shift is from simply adding AI tools to sales processes toward revenue execution, where technology, data and human decision-making work together across the sales cycle.
AI adoption is already strong in the UAE. According to PwC's 2026 UAE CEO survey, 45% of CEOs report extensive AI use in demand generation, including sales, marketing and customer service, significantly above the global figure of 22%.
The next challenge is converting that adoption into business impact. Deloitte's 2026 State of AI in the Enterprise research found that while 66% of Middle East organisations report productivity and efficiency improvements from AI, only 20% say they are currently achieving revenue growth through AI initiatives.
For B2B sales teams, this means AI is increasingly being applied across areas such as lead identification, account planning, customer engagement, sales forecasting, proposal development and workflow automation. The focus is moving toward connecting these individual applications into an end-to-end revenue process.
This trend is also reflected in McKinsey's 2026 B2B research, which finds that companies capturing greater value from AI are redesigning commercial workflows around agentic AI, rather than simply adding AI tools to existing processes.
Why it matters: UAE businesses are entering a phase where AI adoption alone is no longer the differentiator. The bigger opportunity lies in using AI to connect marketing, sales, customer data and revenue operations and turn buyer intent into faster, more predictable revenue execution.
