DynaFront Holdings Bhd, a Bursa Malaysia-listed technology firm, has secured a discovery agreement to help an Indonesian life insurance company replace its core insurance system. The contracting entity is its wholly owned subsidiary, DynaFront Systems Sdn Bhd, which was appointed vendor after the client’s evaluation process.

The client has not been named, and the contract value has not been disclosed, because of confidentiality arrangements.

In the first phase, DynaFront will assess the insurer’s business and functional requirements against its existing PrecentiaLife system. It will identify gaps and work out what modifications are needed. The discovery phase is expected to take about five months from the commencement date.

A second phase, covering full system implementation and data migration, has not yet been contracted. It depends on the client’s formal confirmation and further agreements.

The project aims to give the insurer better operational efficiency, integrated business processes and a scalable platform for digital transformation.

DynaFront told Bursa Malaysia the deal is not expected to materially affect its share capital, net assets or gearing for the financial year ending June 30, 2027. It does expect a positive contribution to revenue that year. The company notes the usual operational and project implementation risks and says it will manage them.
